Alaska Airlines have just announced they will open two new routes from Los Angeles to Costa Rica starting October 31, 2015.

This move follows the increasing availability of direct flights from US to Costa Rica to meet the demand from tourists and medical tourists. In March, Southwest Airlines began flights from Baltimore to San José.
